I recently styled some lifestyle shots for HAM with the brief to use no colour – only black, white and grey. It’s one of the first shoots I’ve ever done that was completely monochrome! I was a bit scared at first but I actually found it a lot easier than my full colour shoots. I’m thinking about banning colour from my sets forever! Of course I’m joking. Can you imagine?!
HAM’s lovely new wall stickers are launching soon!
I recently worked with HAM to style their new collection of silhouette wall stickers. The stickers are nice and big at around 1 metre and are completely repositionable. They are also really thick too! That might be a weird thing to say but it’s true. I use a lot of vinyl stickers and lettering on shoots and at events and most of the time, they are pretty flimsy and easy to tear when applying. The HAM stickers are a dream to work with! And easy to remove too so perfect for renters.
Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot.
The stickers will launch in April and I can’t wait to see how people style them in their homes.
The new season clothing, bedding and feeding has launched at Mothercare and I was happy to be involved again in the styling of the new S/S 2016 collections. Some of the clothing designs are so cute and I’d love it if they made them in adult sizes. It’s my dream to permanently live in dungarees!
You can find the new ranges in store, online and in the catalogue now. My styling for Autumn/Winter 2016 and the new collection – Julien Macdonald x Mothercare is coming soon too!
The MADE.COM Christmas campaign that I recently styled is out now and it’s got me feeling all festive, even though it’s still November and we shouldn’t say the C word just yet. We wanted to continue the feel of the ‘Made You Look’ campaign with familiar objects (associated with the festive season) painted and dipped in rich golds and copper.
I’m really happy with the way the colours worked on this campaign. It’s also made me want to walk around in full gold body paint. I think I could pull it off?
